Well one and all... How'd it go last night?

For me, it was freakin awesome. No lag, no glitches, loads of drops and bountiful supplies of beer and cider. Couldn't of been better last night, if it wasn't for the lack of headset.

Only problem is, today at work has gone MEGA slow. I'm busy and chewing through the work, but the clock has seemed to stop. Humph!!

Looking forward to the Klingon Cruise this evening. Should be funny. If only I was able to speak over teamspeak.

Gutted. Last weekend of beta and I was in bed half dead with man flu!

Did manage to log in a few times over the weekend and with every log in, there was something new. At last the bug where you transport into space as your character is gone, woo hoo. Sector space was also much improved. Navigation is a snip now.

I hope there's a few more minutes of beta this eve, so I can have one last blast before Friday.

After an estrange evening of STO, I have much to say about the patch.

First off, the interface. Hmmm, me likes it. Bit confusing at first, but overall much improved. The map works now. Still a little hard figuring where a mission system is in sector space, but overall easy to navigate. The new icons and general overhaul of the dialogs and ickle pictures was a lot more professional looking. Still not 100% Star Trek, but very good nonetheless.
