Chagrian

Appearance

   
The Chagrian were an amphibious race of sentiant being that resembled humans in body structure that originated from Champala. However they were taller, and commonly had skin that ranged from the colors blue to indigo. They posses very long black tongues.However they cannot taste anything due to constant exposure to Champala's oceans. Due to this lack of taste they believe that eating is a nuisance and only consume the food with the highest nutritional value. They have two protrusions from the sides of their skull, which were called lethorns. Also on top of male skulls they had two horn protruding from their crest. These horns were a sign of status being that they displayed strength and vitality. Being amphibious, Chagrians have the ability to breathe underwater as well as in the air. Also possessing acute low-light vision, they have keen night sight. They also have a natural resistance to radiation due to the constant bombardment of solar radiation on Champala throughout their evolution.

Culture

   
Born as tadpoles in clutches of three or more, the Chagrian young were raised in tubs of water in a family's private home. During the development their arms, legs, and lungs would develope. The Chagrian were generally a very peaceful people. They were law-abiding citizens. Personality wise they were stoic and obstiante. Rarely showing greed, they were only motivated by food, shelter and health-care. They were a highly educated, force-sensitive people, who would travel to learn at high level universities. They speak Chagri, however those who go off of Champala learn basic as well. Religious beliefs include that one day their God, Aram Acheron will burst out of Logue Rock to lead his people.

History

   
Civilization on Champala originated on the coastline, where sea level fluctuated wildly. Buildings were submerged at high tide, and at this point the Chagrians swam between them. Some building did not have staircases or elevators, but the people waited until high tide to reach higher floors. Once contact was made with other species, starports and trade cities on high plateaus were created. Champala was one of the first planets to join the Alliance of Free Planets, and later the New Republic, and remained a staunch supporter

Kel'Dor

The Kel'dor are a humanoid race native to the planet Dorin. They are comparable to humans in average height and weight and have a skin color ranging from a light peach to crimson red. Their eyes are usually black although some have been known to have silver eye color. They are characterized by the bulbous extra sensory organs attached to the side of their skull which give them heightened reflexes. The atmosphere of their homeworld is composed of helium and a gas unique to Dorin and the atmosphere of most habitable worlds is poisonous to them. Whenever Kel'Dor venture off world they always wear protective goggles to insure they do not go blind and an antitox breath mask supplying them with the gases native to their homeworld that they require to breath and keeping out the harmful chemicals contained in foreign atmospheres.

Culture

Kel'Dor culture is characterized by a very black and white sense of right and wrong, and they are a very hospitable species, quick to help those in need around them. The have a tradition of Force users within their culture known as the Baran Do Sages. The sages had rudimentary skill with the Force and often served as advisors to prominent Kel'Dor familys.

History

The planet of Dorin joined the Galactic Republic in 5,975 BBY. Because of the tradition of the Baran Do many Jedi came from Dorin and so the Republic established an enclave on the planet. Due to the atmosphere there were not many students that came, however Jedi sometimes visit the enclave to learn from the Baran Do.

Togruta

The Togruta have red skin with grey lips and white pigmentation upon their faces. White stripes are evident on the chests, legs, backs, arms, lekku, and montrals. Montrals are the hollow hornlike projections at the top of a Togrutaís head. The hollow montrals produce the innate ability to detect physical objects around by ultrasonic means. The average Togruta ranges from 1.5-1.9 meters in height.

Culture
   
Togruta tend to be silent and peaceful. They believe the land is connected to them and thus emphasize the wearing of shoes to sever the bond. Tortugas have a knack for associating with other cultures. They also excel in situations that call for teamwork.

History
   
At one point in history the Togruta established a colony on the planet Kiros. It was found that the species possessed a slight affinity for the force. The Togruta have contributed many members to the Jedi Order.

Humans

Apperance

Humans posses a wide spectrum of varying eye, skin, and hair colors. All humans have a torso, two arms, two legs, five fingers on each hand, five toes on each foot, two eyes, two ears, one nose, one mouth and one head. The average human stands 1.7 meters tall.

Culture

Humans are known to be a more politically dominant species.

History

Human records have been found dating back before 200,000 BBY. It is unknown exactly which planet is the original homeworld of the humans, but it is assumed that humans evolved on one of the Core Worlds near the center of the Galaxy. It is believed by the humans that this planet is Coruscant. The human race has played a key role in the Unification Wars, and it is also responsible for the forming of the Galactic Republic.
